A shutter opens and closes.   Frozen forever is a moment in history. That moment may be the defeat in the face of one undocumented person caught by American border patrol. Or, it could be the tears of thousands shed for the life of a world leader.  

I'm a photojournalist because there is beauty and truth in those moments; truth that I want to share with others who can't be there to witness history.  

In my work I strive, through human emotion to give my viewers a sense of not only the scene but also how it felt to be there.   So the mood of that moment frozen in history will always translate into contemporary life.
